Dorking: The hidden filters….

People use normal search queries but hackers used special filters for searching unique and hidden items on both surfaces and the dark web, these filters are known as dorks, and the technique is known as Dorking.

So what does this dork look like?? they are just a simple mixture of phrases that filter the search according to them, these phrases can be inurl, intitle, ext, and many more.

Let's understand what are web filters and how they work when you search icecream google search its database and find all the tags or URL which are crawled by google crawlers and SEO [Search engine optimization] and display all the result.

Similarly, dorks help us in advanced searches for example we want to search Indian site which is for shopping and made in PHP or java programing language

So the dork will be

inurl: .in | intitle:shopping | ext:jsp;php

inurl means in the URL
intitile means in the title of the application
ext means application extensions
